When you Google my name, Kent Weed, Wikipedia says, “Kent Weed is an American television director and producer and co-founder of A. Smith & Co. Productions. Weed is known for his television work, reality, game shows, and a variety of genres spanning shows such as "American Ninja Warrior," "Hell’s Kitchen," "Unsung," "Paradise Hotel," and "Trading Spaces."

That sounds like quite an interesting person, but is only a small part of who I am.

Working behind-the-scenes has always been a joy for me. There’s no more joy than creating something that makes a difference in people's lives.  I enjoy captivating audiences with real-life stories that are relatable and elicit emotion, thought, and change.

As I have opened my life with you here at the LiveUrPurpose community, I thought it would be nice to share a part of me where I believe we could relate to each other.

Here are 5 things - interesting things about me that most of you may not know yet.

My First Dream was to become a Doctor

Both my grandfather and uncle were doctors. If I didn’t become a Director and a Producer, I would have been a doctor. Can you imagine hearing the page in the hospital:  Calling Doctor Weed, Doctor Weed to ER.   As it turned out, I was too impatient.  Going to school for another 9 long years was a no-no for me. So, say bye to Doc Kent, and hello  Director Kent.

Is there something I want to Change in Myself?

As much as I love and accept myself - all the flaws and imperfections, my failures, and successes,  if there’s one thing I would change is that I would be kinder, and erase any or all the judgment that I have about others

The 4 People I Look Up To: “My Heroes”

I’m a big believer in what these four individuals greatly did for the world. Bobby Kennedy Jr., Dalai Lama, Martin Luther King, and Leonardo Davinci.

My Dream Place to Live Should Have Bodies of Water in It

In one of my Instagram video posts, I once shared my love for oceans. I am never happier than when I am near or in the water. My soul is in the ocean. The sound of the waves is music to my ears and to my heart. It calms my soul like nothing else. The deeper I could dive in, the greater my joy. That’s why if I could live anywhere, it would be either an Island in the Caribbean, or Hawaii.

Guess what?  I have a Twin Sister

Most people get amazed every time they discover that I have a twin sister. Yes, you read it right. I have a twin sister, and her name is Kymberli. I'm forever Grateful for my twin sister Kimberly, she never forgets my birthday. Haha!  Fun fact, although we are twins, we are very different from each other.  It reminds me to Celebrate our differences.

There you have it. A little bit about me is more than you would find in my bio. I may not be as popular as a celebrity or influencer, but we all have things about ourselves that others find interesting.
